Ways to Volunteer with PBP

GROUP FACILITATOR

Our group facilitators are mother's or father's that have personally lost a child to homicide. They are caring, compassionate, dedicated, and loving individuals who are determined to make an impact in the lives of grieving families by leading our support groups and helping families restore a sense of PEACE to their lives The facilitator encourages conversations, leads crafts, and grief activities planned by PBP staff. They create a safe place for participants to talk about and remember their loved ones.

MEAL PROVIDERS

Our families aren't always in the mood for cooking. Our meal providers provide prepared meals for PBP families.  They also are on call to work various events serving food for other local nonprofit events. At least 3-8 people are needed to prepare, serve, and clean up after an event.

EVENT VOLUNTEER

PBP is looking to have on call volunteers that are willing to attend various events throughout the year. We like attend memorials held by the families so that they know they have our full support. We would love for you to contribute your love, hugs, empathy, smile, compassion, and positive attitude for our families, as they come to begin or continue their pathway to Peace

FUNDRAISING VOLUNTEER

Because all of our programs are offered to families at no cost, we are always fundraising! Volunteer your time, knowledge, connections, and any other resources that would be helpful for our fundraising events. We appreciate anything you can contribute.

VOLUNTEER PHOTOGRAPHER

We would love for you to provide your photography skills to document an event or fundraiser, so others can visually see what we do to support our mission.
